Tax Incentives for Small Business Job Creation - WIB Supports

Small businesses are the job creators in Wisconsin’s economy accounting for more than half of all the new jobs created every year. Like all other employers, small, independent businesses are looking to the marketplace for signs of economic recovery and to the government for relief from higher taxes and expensive new mandates before making any hiring decisions.

Providing small businesses with tax credits for each new worker they add to their payroll and reducing their state income tax burden are pro-job growth strategies which should be enacted immediately. Together, these actions will help WIB members create jobs which in turn will help our state’s economy grow and prosper.
