Regulatory Reform for Small Businesses - WIB Supports

According to a recent report from the Small Business Administration entitled “The Impact of Regulatory Costs on Small Firms,” small businesses pay more than $7,500 per employee every year to comply with federal regulations. For the smallest employers (less than 20 employees), the annual regulatory compliance costs exceed $10,500 per employee.

Above and beyond these costs, Wisconsin small, independent businesses must also comply with a myriad of state-imposed regulations which add to the cost of doing business.
